It was bound to happen. Some piece of pop-culture trash found its way into this strip. For a good reason, I should add. It seems that some people have managed to get offended at Transfomers, claiming that it is full of racial stereotypes. Of course that’s complete bullshit, I won’t argue point for point but needless to say that if you want to find something to get offended about, you will. Also, the color of the characters has nothing to do with it. Hollywood has a limited set of archetypes for each plot, the hero, the nerd, the coward and so on. If you watch Die Hard 4 you will see the role of Anthony Anderson’s overweight hacker nerd played by white guy Kevin Smith. You could similarly compare every role with another role played by a white actor. Yes, there are racial stereotypes in the media but goddamn it’s not like they made Jazz rape a white woman then steal her car stereo to score some crack. He gave his spark to save his friends which was very noble (as far as fictional fanboy-sob-inducing robot deaths go). For some bitter hag to look at that and go “see black robot has to die first!” is just fucking stupid. This blog, The Angry Black Woman, is oddly devoid of meaningful articles such as the disenfranchisement of black voters and other seemingly important issues and instead focuses on political correctness bullshit. Well, I hope this offends you too.

If religion had an age limit just like alcohol, tobacco, guns and other potentially dangerous things, it would die out within a few generations. It’s dishonest to say that children will make up their own minds when they have been systematically programmed from birth to believe in God. We are already hardwired to believe what we’re told when we are young as a matter of survival instinct. “Don’t play in the street. Don’t stick metal in electrical sockets. Don’t sin or you will burn in Hell.” To a child, each one of these warnings carries equal weight. After all, if children went around questioning everything adults told them they wouldn’t make it passed the 1st grade. It is only later in life that we become confident enough in ourselves to form our own conclusions. By then the damage is usually irreversible. The idea of unquestioning faith is the key point for modern religion. This is so that the programming will survive the questions imposed by the adult mind, by teaching followers to ignore them and block them out completely.

Teaching a child things that aren’t backed up with hard evidence is psychological child abuse. You are essentially taking advantage of a child’s newly formed weakened mind to manipulate and conform their beliefs to your own, something that wouldn’t be possible without the handicap of being young and pliable. It’s exploitation at its worst and it can leave lasting scars just like sexual molestation and physical abuse.

Many people criticize online interaction as less valid than “real life” and for good reasons. We’re all familiar with equating arguing on the internet to wining a medal in the Special Olympics but that’s not entirely true. Yes, if your goal is to change the minds of others or somehow show yourself to be superior then arguing on the internet and much more importantly, anywhere, is a waste of time. What it is good for is exploring your own ideas and opinions with the help of others. No matter who you are, you can’t see every angle on every situation at the same time. Even the ridiculous rhetoric that some people spew can highlight key points in your own ideas.

Stupidity, ignorance and hatred is here to stay. It shouldn’t be encouraged, certainly, but it shouldn’t be ignored either. There’s a lot to learn from arguing with some jackass to a certain length. It’s when you stop listening to other people’s ideas that you become one of them, spewing your opinions as fact while ignoring everyone else.

There’s a lot of people walking around with an artificially inflated sense of righteousness over what they eat. In the end we’re all killers one way or another. Just because you value animals more than plants while I value them equally doesn’t make you less guilty of the same crime. What makes killing plants and animals so different? Is it because animals scream? If plants could scream they would. They do react with various self-defense mechanisms such as trying heal when damaged. Plants don’t die as quickly as animals do though. Even after they’re harvested they keep on growing a little and trying to survive even though it’s hopeless. That is, until you finally finish the job and kill them by dropping them into boiling water or worse, eating them alive. At least I have the decency to kill my food first you goddamn savages.

So why is killing plants acceptable? Is it because they’re dumb? What about cows? I haven’t seen too many smart cows. They just stand there all day shitting on the same ground that they eat off of. Chickens? Don’t even get me started on chickens, those dumb bastards. So is it just intelligence that makes it unacceptable to eat something? What about retards? Ok maybe it’s just self-awareness. How about babies then? They’re not very self-aware. Well, someday they will be, maybe that’s why. What about coma victims with no hope of recovery? Fine then, what about dead people? I didn’t kill them, they were already dead. Why can’t I eat them? Are they your property? What if it’s one of my relatives? Can I eat my grandparents when they die? The rules make no sense to me and I think I know why. There aren’t any rules.

Don’t give me that “lesser of two evils” bullshit. You could survive without eating anything living, if you wanted to. Instead of just accepting it as a diet choice you vegans use it as an excuse to praise how moral you are. Well, congratulations on successfully adhering to the morals that you just pulled out of your fucking ass. I plan on doing the same.

I would just like to let everyone know that I’m not some M$ fanboy the way I pick on Apple all the time. It really sucks that Microsoft is forcing me to upgrade to Vista. Even going as far as artificially limiting DirectX 10 to Vista-only. The sad part is that I’ve become so addicted to eye-candy games that I’m going to willingly bend over and take my raping. I’ve got Vista installed on a separate disk so I can dual-boot and only use Vista for games that support DirectX 10. Which is, not really any games yet. None that matter at least. Oh but Crysis, Bioshock and the rest will save me from that horrible reality. Soon, I will be suckling the teat of NVIDIA as the 8900GTX gently caresses my cerebral cortex with imagery of lush tropical forests and exploding soldiers.

I know Catholicism does a pretty good job of downplaying its incompatibilities with evolution, so I’m not picking on the Catholics per se. However you will find loads of hilarious material from days gone by in the “Catholic Encyclopedia“. No, Christians in general are intolerant of anything that allows for Godlessness and for good reason. It’s dangerous to tell people the truth when you’re selling lies.

Words can’t always fully express my loathing so I’ll just illustrate it. I named it “Death Horror Comic”. It’s as good as any I guess. I think it fits the overall mood. I hope you enjoy it. Either way, this comic strip will send you directly to hell. The inspiration is from friends and various random people I come into contact with. Some lines are direct quotes, the rest is complete bullshit. I’m not going to say what is what or quote the source because fuck them, they should have made their own comic strip. I also can’t draw straight so most of the art work is pieced together from various stock sources.
